Terms of service
Effective July 23, 2026
The agreement
These terms are an agreement between you and Reply With Kindness (“we,” “us”). By using replywithkindness.com or subscribing to the service, you agree to them. If you are accepting on behalf of a business, you confirm you have the authority to bind that business.
The service
Reply With Kindness monitors the Google Business Profile you connect, drafts a reply to each new review in your voice, routes drafts to you for approval, and publishes approved replies to Google. The service also sends alerts for reviews of 3 stars or below and a weekly email summary. We may improve or change features over time; if we materially reduce what the service does, we will tell you first.
Your account and your business
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you give us, for maintaining control of your account and email, and for having the right to manage the Google Business Profile you connect. The service is for business use and requires you to be at least 18.
Connecting Google and publishing on your behalf
By connecting your Google Business Profile, you authorize us to access your reviews and publish replies to them on your behalf, subject to your approval settings. Your use of Google services remains governed by Google’s own terms, and the service depends on Google’s APIs remaining available to us.
Approvals and responsibility for replies
Every reply is drafted for your review, and nothing posts without approval unless you enable auto-posting for 4- and 5-star reviews. Replies to reviews of 3 stars or below always require your explicit approval and are never posted automatically. When you approve a reply (or enable auto-posting), the published reply is your business’s public statement, and you are responsible for its content. Review each draft before approving.
Fees and billing
The service costs $10 per month per Google Business Profile, billed monthly through Polar, our merchant of record. Your first 10 replies are free; billing begins only when you subscribe. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time, effective at the end of the current billing period; we do not offer partial-month refunds unless the law requires them. If we change the price, we will give you at least 30 days’ notice before it applies to you.
Acceptable use
Do not use the service to publish content that is unlawful, deceptive, or violates Google’s review policies; to misrepresent your business; to interfere with the service; or to attempt to access another customer’s data. We may suspend or end service for violations.
Ownership
You own your business information and, once approved, your replies. We own the service (the software, site, and drafting system) and you receive only the right to use it while subscribed. If you send us feedback, we may use it without obligation.
No guarantees about outcomes
Thoughtful replies can support how your business is perceived, but we make no promises about ratings, review volume, search rankings, or revenue. Google controls what appears on your profile and how it is displayed.
Disclaimers and limits on liability
The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. To the same extent, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
Indemnification
You agree to defend and hold us harmless from claims arising out of the replies you approve, your business’s conduct, or your breach of these terms.
Termination
You can cancel at any time from your account or by emailing us. We may suspend or terminate the service for breach of these terms, or discontinue the service entirely with reasonable notice, in which case we will refund any prepaid fees for time not received. Upon termination we delete your Google connection tokens and stop accessing your profile.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will update the effective date above and notify subscribers by email before the changes take effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Connecticut, and both sides consent to their jurisdiction.
